Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in work of VIII Conference “NATURE OF THE SHELF AND ARCHIPELAGOS OF THE EUROPEAN ARCTIC”, organized by the Murmansk Marine Biological Institute. The Conference is devoted to important aspects of scientific studies of the shelf and archipelagos of the European Arctic, discussion of plans and research programs of further studies, international cooperation, etc.

The work of the Conference will be divided into sections:

1. Integrated studies of nature of Svalbard, Franz Josef Land and Novaya Zemlya.

2. Correlation of natural events on the shelf and bordering archipelagos of the European Arctic in the Upper Pleistocene and Holocene.
